CHRISTMAS HOMEWORK

I know it's Christmas time and I hope your are enjoying your holidays, but you have to do some homework:

You have to write a short composition about a town. You can describe your town or any other towns or cities. Use the grammar and the vocabulary studied in unit 2. Follow these instructions:

       Instructions:
  • Write a description of a town.
  • Use there is and there are.
  • Write comparative sentences.
  • Use the vocabulary studied in class: places in a city and adjectives (workbook page 23)
  • Structure:
1st. paragraph: where is the town? Is it in Spain? Is it big? Has it got many       inhabitants?...
2nd. paragraph: Which places are there in the town? Are there any cinemas? hospitals? shopping centres?...
3rd. paragrahp:Do you like this town? Why? Why not?

Apart from the writinng you also have to do the photocopy you were given in class. It's a reading comprehension activity. Read the text and do the activities.
